The Wadsworth Center’s Division of Environmental Health Sciences is seeking motivated individuals to fill full-time positions in support of our large-scale biomonitoring studies. Our laboratory specializes in measuring toxic contaminants and essential elements in human specimens; working in collaboration with other researchers across the globe to improve human health.
Applicants should be prepared to work as part of a diverse group and be able to rapidly adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment. Working with biological samples such as blood, urine, and tissues is a requirement of these positions. Attention to detail is a required skill. Specific job duties will include all sample preparation, analysis, and data processing for routine and potentially developmental work; and assisting with preparation of quality control and proficiency testing materials.
