10th Annual Future Leaders Series January 22, 2025

The ENY ACS is hosting the 10th Annual Future Leaders Series meeting on January 22, 2025. This event is an opportunity for Ph.D. students, who are expected to graduate in 2025, to present their work at the ENY ACS January local section meeting. Future Leaders are students that have shown exceptional work ethic, creativity, perseverance, and collaboration in their research.

Faculty are encouraged to nominate their Ph.D. students for consideration of one of the 2025 Future Leaders by Wednesday January 15, 2025. Selected speakers will be notified by the next week. We are looking for 3-4 speakers to present. Each presentation will be 10 minutes with 5 additional minutes for questions.

To nominate a student, the graduate advisor should email enyacs@gmail.com with the following information:

• Student name and email address
• Anticipated graduation month
• Presentation title and abstract
• A few sentences describing why the student should be selected as a 2025 Future Leader
